I think many of us out in the either have had fantasy’s of working hard for a few weeks or months and seeing the kind of greenbacks that John Chow makes per month. But while many see only dollar signs in their eyes as they scratch their head to find a niche, any niche to write about, they may instead being writing an epitaph for failure and exhaustion

If you’re knee deep into blogging, the omnipotence of blogging can quickly take a toll on your physical and mental health. The cycle of blogging is a vicious one. You’re not a character who settles for second place. Everyone with the same mentality understands that second place is nothing more than the first loser. The business of blogging for money is much like a chess game. The only problem is the compounding and ever growing competition.

In my years of creating websites such as Do1thing for the environment as well as many others that have failed from either lack of my knowledge in the subject matter or lack of time to properly nurture the site, I came into this particular enterprise knowing that to be on top you have to work harder then the person who is on top. I also wanted to experience the thrill, frustration and camaraderie that i think is unique to the Blogosphere.
